Last month I promised change, and in January CIE will be delivering on that promise.  Our software vendor, Xceligent will be rolling out an upgrade to our current database system, scheduled for January 8th (evening) and a follow-up update (for reports) on January 15th.

Incorporated in this upgrade will be a redesigned "Home Page" with easier navigation and a new look. 

Additionally, reports will be easier and faster to print with a new button being added to search results for “Quick Print Reports”.  

An Xpress Summary View will be another feature in this upgrade.  This page will introduce a quick map, the ability to view listing and property summaries and see transaction activity all on one page along with other new features. 

On the Property Summary page, the "Property" tab and the “Photos/Flyers” tab is being modified with a more efficient layout to make it easier to read. 

The upgrade also includes several style modifications.  These modifications contain a new style for the Brochure Report and the Tour with Suites Report.

A few new things to be added during this upgrade, including a new category for general use labeled “Special Use” and a way to reduce unwanted mail being sent to recipients.

CDX Mail Plus

When sending out an email with a CIE brochure, it is no longer necessary for you to select the recipients in Step 3. We have taken care of this step for you based upon the emails that members have chosen to receive.

95% of all members have chosen to receive ALL emails, the rest have chosen not to receive emails of certain property types and properties located in certain areas.  

When sending an email, if you select all members, you will be spamming members with emails they do not want to receive. They in turn, can block all future emails from you. Don’t allow this to happen, just skip through step 3 and everyone stays off the “blocked” list.

cie fees due January 5th, 2009

2009 CIE Membership and Office Invoices were mailed December 1st.  We encourage you to pay your fees in full through our on-line option and take advantage of the discount offered.

Click here for details on how to pay your fees on-line. CIE Office Fees and 1st Quarter Membership fees must be paid by January 5th to avoid a late fee.
